Laytons LLP is pleased to announce that Marc Selby has been appointed as Chairman of the Property Taxes Committee of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).

The CIOT is the leading professional body in the UK dealing with all aspects of tax with the aim of promoting education in taxation and to achieve a more efficient and less complex tax system for all.

A founding member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group, Marc has been head of Tax at Laytons LLP since his arrival in 1998. He advises other professionals, including lawyers and accountants, on the tax aspects of corporate transactions working alongside our property teams providing advice to clients on Stamp Duty Land Tax and structuring advice on purchases.
